The Setup program will display a 'dialogue box' where the alpha-numeric security Registration Code that has been supplied to you must be entered.
The code is NOT 'case sensitive'. In other words letters may be entered either as CAPITALS or as small (lower case) letters.
Please note:-
The Registration Code is 'date sensitive'. It will only work to install programs within a relatively narrow window of dates (around 75 to 90 days from issue). It is therefore essential that your computer's built in clock is correctly set as the Registration Code may detect non synchronous dates and block all further attempts to install. Even if the clock is subsequently reset correctly! Programs once installed will however continue to operate after the time expiry data of the Registration Code that was used to install them. Each Mistral Registration Code issued is unique to each registered Licensee. It is traceable. Giving a Mistral Registration Code to a third party without the permission of Mistral Associates is illegal. It also damages our Refrigeration & Air Conditioning industry and the same industry within which you, as a professional member of it, must earn your living! Don't do it! Registration Codes are easily traceable and Mistral ALWAYS (usually very publicly!) prosecutes transgressors of internationally recognised and supported software Copyright and Licensing legislation. Regardless of who they are or where they are located. To date Mistral has never been unsuccessful in securing substantial damages through litigation against transgressors.
If unsure about your software licence validity and status then please contact us where you will receive confidential, friendly and fair advice.
Do not attempt to operate a Mistral program if the computer clock is manually changed after installation as this will almost certainly introduce a permanent hidden block code designed to prevent further operation of Mistral software on that computer until the block code is removed. Removal of block codes can only be accomplished by one of two methods.
1) By contacting Mistral and requesting a live contact session (by either visit or telephone call) where a block code removal procedure is conducted by Mistral engineers and for which a payment charge may* be requested to be made beforehand.
2) Formatting* of the computer Hard Drive.
*If you think these procedures are somewhat harsh, or Draconian even, then please bear in mind it stands to reason that it is you (and not Mistral), along
with the rest of Mistral's law abiding customers and licensees, that would otherwise have to bear the costs of the few villains that try to cheat and to steal intellectual property.
The development and ongoing maintenance costs of which are paid for (very expensively!) by others.
